All the other major content management systems have a Rich Text Editor and so should Drupal. Addionally, drupal should extend its content management system to include features such as published during start and end time, as well as the ability to manage users more simply.

I'll second the need for a good, extensible, rich text editor.

I also agree about the user management problem and submitted a feature request here with some suggestions.

This is not going to happen, use http://drupal.org/project/wysiwig if you want a rich text editor.
