A new stable release of the Variable module is available. It contains a small number of changes related to improving validation and moving the Variable Advanced submodule to the Variable Extra module.

A patch to update the Variable module to 7.x-2.4.

Tested #1 with an existing Commons install and verified that there were no issues with upgrading to and running Variable 7.x-2.4 on its own or in combination with Internationalization. Commons and Internationalization do not currently take advantage of Variable Advanced so there is no reason to include Variable Extra.

Committed #1 to Commons 7.x-3.x.
