Album body text appears differently on front page and in node

Whenever I create an album and embed HTML in its body, the text of the body appears formatted as expected on the front page of my site. When viewing that album's node directly, it renders as one long unbroken block of text. Could those views be made consistent, preferably by making it render like the bodies of other content types (with HTML formatting and all)?

For example, browse to http://honeypot.net/ and look at the "Slumming it at the Ramada" entry. Then click on that link and note that it now looks completely different.
