There is no drop down for states as well as cities if the selected country is India. It's good to have state and the corresponding city list if country selected is India.
Trying to add the same.

Thanks for contributing this for use in India. I tried to use it for a site.

Applying this patch fails on addressfield-7.x-1.0-beta5 and addressfield-7.x-1.0-beta4.

Can you please re-roll and re-post the patch for beta5 (current version)?

Can we use this patch? it contains one more state named 'Telengana' and also it lists Indian Territories separately.

I managed to miss Telangana because it doesn't have an ISO code yet. I will add it.

Also it do not list Indian territories separately

Can you provide an explanation with examples or a patch?

oh ok.
I meant, we can list group of states and group of territories by distinguishing them with '' => t('--'), (like it is listed for country US after first '' => t('--'), it lists all states and after second '' => t('--'), it list all major areas/territories.)

@bojanz: This was probably missed in the module because the state of Telangana was recently created from other state Andra Pradesh.

There are 29 states (seperate state governments) and 7 union territories(under central government). It would be good if this could be listed separately.

@KalyaniK : Can you please create the patch for this, since you are already working on it?
