Hi,

first, I just love the possibility to change avatar just by clicking on the user picture! Wow! Thanks for this one! :-)

Using Firefox 24.0 for Mac, the UI to resize the avatar is bigger than my sceen. Is this a bug? Is it Firefox?

Would it be possible to turn off the "resize avatar option" in a way to keep the default avatar process?

I think you need to set the dimensions for the avatar, please goto 'Account Settings' -> 'Picture upload dimensions' , set the dimensions of the avatar.
I set it to 150x150, so it won't happen.

I considered the option to turn off the crop for avatar, I hope I could implement it soon.

Hi,

the thing is, that my community (theme) is configured for avatars of 250X250. So I cannot "downgrade" to 150X150. I guess that the tool to crop avatars should ideally be unaffected by the size of avatars.

I'm hoping for a solution because many members dont load avatars... I can set a default avatar saying "click me to change me"!

Hi,

Maybe you should set the dimensions of avatar firstly and test if there is minor problem for UI, then just change the css for the ui display.
Because the crop panel is fixed by css.

I had a rapid look at the CSS with firebug... I think I know how.

The ability to turn off the crop function would be nice because the average user is sometimes a bit lost in front of to many options.
