Gallery give 403, but images are viewable

I have a D6 NG gallery thats been working for quite a while but recently it has stopped showing anonymous or authenticated users the Gallery nodes but alows users to se the individual user nodes.

Its giving 403 errors for the Gallery nodes and it does not even show them on the front page. The Gallery blocks do display and the users can see the image and browse to those nodes. Once there they can move through the set of images, but not see the whole set of thumbnails.

I've reset the Views, flushed the caches and permissions, etc....

Any ideas?
