For themes such as Tech, the search box will appear on top of the Lightbox. In addition, sometimes in some browsers (the only other one I have access too is Konqueror) the Top Nav bar (in that same theme) appears on top of the Lightbox. You can see an example of the problem here.

Tested with:

  • Firefox 2.0.0.11 and Konqueror 3.5.8 (in KDE 3.5.8), Similar to Safari (both use the same rendering engine)
  • Kubuntu Linux 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon
  • Adding a Lightbox with a one-line title and an image that is 640x480

The attached patch should fix it for the Tech theme. Further changes may need to be made to the z-indexes of the lightbox elements if any other theme uses very high values in the future.
