After bumping entity api to the latest stable version the unpublishing functionality stopped working correctly. I currently have 2 sites that are using the same versions of workbench_moderation, scheduler, and scheduler_workbench with the same patches applied to both, the only difference is that Entity API is 1.1 and 1.2 respectively. The site running 1.1 works perfectly as expected, but the one running 1.2 causes the unpublish action to create a new draft revision and leave the published revision published. Not sure whether this should go in the Entity API queue or not, it seems as though Entity API likes to break other module functionality.

acbramley commentedApologies, I missed the "Create a new revision on unpublishing" which another developer had enabled which was causing this. Maybe scheduler_workbench should disable this setting completely?

ladybug_3777 commentedAh interesting. I was just coming here to report this same issue! I can confirm that the "Create a new revision" option during publishing is the culprit!

figtree_development commented'm running entity 1.4 and experiencing the same issue. "Create a new revision on un-publishing", creates a new version but doesn't un-publish the content.
