I'm sub-theming BlueMasters. Some settings work in the sub-theme (like "Show slideshow"), but, some don't: (like "Slideshow cycling duration") - those that are using template.php don't work properly.

What you I do make settings like "Slideshow cycling duration" to work in my sub-theme?

You can modify the settings of "Slideshow cycling duration" in your
name_sub-theme.info
Example:

settings[slideshow_effect_time]='10'
settings[slideshow_animation_time]='0.5'
