Hello,

I need to change the value of a field by rule. The value is taken from a list of other field. Which field exactly the value is taken from has to be decided upon a field taken from the user.

Node
- field-1 (value to be modified)
- field-2
- field-3
...
- field-10

User
- field-group (values 2 - 10)

So if the users "field-group" is set to 5, field-1 should get the value of field-5.
How could I determine this dynamic field within a rule's action?

I don't really have enough information to help you. This can certainly be done, but I don't know what data you have available since you don't mention what even you're using. The best thing is for you to export the rule or partial rule you have so far, post it here, and describe why it doesn't work the way you want it.
