Missing there are no checkbox / tick box items under the Enabled heading in View Index of facet tab of search api admin

For example for an index questionsindex, the path where the missing check box problem is seen is:

admin/config/search/search_api/index/questionsindex/facets

This problem has suddenly started to happen, the check boxes used to be present.

Could it be an incompatibility with a theme or another module?

Issue summary: View changes

We had this problem and I have tracked it down to bootstrap theme, which I see you too are using.

Switch the theme to bartik or something and watch the checkboxes appear.

I am currently hunting down code in bootstrap theme to see what kind of overrides it has on checkboxes.

The problem is that the checkbox #options array has empty values so the #title of the checkbox is missing.

This was fixed when I updated bootstrap to 7.x-2.2
