I installed all like in your documentation. When I upload video only MPEG4 transcodes fine for all others I get following message: Transcoding failed. Please try another video. That happens for AVI, MPEG2, QT, WMF, DIVX...

Thats my second installation. In the first installation I did this and then it transcoded:
1- I clicked on edit the video
2- I checked the Retranscode this video box
3- Saved
4 Run cron manually

And it worked. In my second installation it is not even working that way.

Can you help. Need to get this going.

Looks like a problem with your local ffmpeg installation. You probably need to compile and install it with more libraries.
Buuuuut..... if it was a problem with your ffmpeg, you will never transcode anything... so.... I don't know what to say...
