I was looking to link the end and first nodes together so that all of the content nodes would link together in a loop (for example all of my content types could connect to another of the same type).

This was accomplished with an older Drupal 6 version patch (http://drupal.org/node/936760), but I can't figure out how to make the changes to the Drupal 7 version.
