This is the same issue that affected the Button player, http://drupal.org/node/165671. The root of the problem seems to be http://drupal.org/node/158687.

I've got a patch here, please test! I've also made a modification or two so that this player is coded similarly to the button one. If this is alright, we should be able to release a stable version.

This is sort of backwards. What I meant to say here was that I changed the code to be a little more Drupally, and it led to the above problem. Before doing this, it wasn't really a problem, but it became one, so now I'm fixing it, and doing two things at once. ;)
