COLOR hates Polpo 7 :(

i really, really, really want this theme. i actually hacked it in 6 and repurposed it as a principal theme. can we get this baby to work? if i try to go to the settings page for the theme, i get this error

but am running also the STYLEGUIDE and had no problem whatsoever going into it a taking a look at the theme from there.
