This patch allows users with 'outline posts in books' to set page weight.

It also positions the 'weight' form element right below the 'parent' form element.

I think this is not a feature and may be acceptable for Drupal 5.x. It is not an issue in Drupal 6, so we do not have to worry about that. However, the code needs work; 'description' should not have a line break in it.

here's an updated patch with the linebreak removed (not sure if that was holding this up from being included in 5.8).

Let's try this one more time! Changed status from needs work to needs review.

Question, how do you do this with Drupal 6x? The weight goes up to 15 and I have a forum user who wants to set it to 30 or more chapters.

According to #2 this is not an issue in Drupal 6.x, only in 5.x. And since 5.x is no longer supported, I think this can be closed.
