First off, I realize there have been multiple threads on this such as this one; http://drupal.org/node/1411830.

I have tried to follow this but I could not get it to work.

What I did and would like to do is as follows:

I shrunk the main slideshow to about 1/2 the page and want to add a block on the other side of the slideshow to insert an image.

I attached a file to show what I am trying to explain. So, where the image is of the guy, I would like to create a block. Would this be possible?
