Hi,
I'm afraid of using Skinr as I found many Drupal Modules tend to be going discontinued after a great launch initially. I doubt if it's a good decision to be using Skinr for all my new projects with Drupal as I noticed no updates ever since last April 2012, it looks like in a dormant status, sooner deprecated?

moonray commentedSkinr isn't dead.
I, however, am on a bit of a break from developing for it. I haven't had a project I used it on in a while (I'm a dev, not a themer), and I've repeatedly stated the need for an active co-maintainer; however none have come forward.
Skinr is pretty stable, though, aside form a few bugs in the queue. Any critical bugs will be dealt with as soon as possible, but for now the rest is on the slow burner unless someone else steps forward to help out.

jetwodru commentedoh sorry, I'm just a system integrator and really love the idea of Skinr which can really help out in theming fast, it should be built in core for easy yet flexible theming in Drupal
