I've been using Paypal for payments on a production site. I had to update the main email address, but I kept the previous one as a secondary one. I didn't realise this would impact on payments... all the users were set to anonymous and payment type was unknown. It took me a while to work it out (I would have done it straightaway if I'd looked in the logs, duh!)
Anyway my request is that when there are Paypal errors inserted into the logs, can it email the admin by default? I guess this is possible with rules, but my rule making is not that advanced yet.
(As a side I've also found that the Paypal transactions have not been given transaction IDs. Is this supposed to happen? If not I'll open a separate issue.)
(second aside, sorry I can't edit the title to something more relevant now I've posted!)
Thanks
Alex

rszrama commentedI'm not really sure what the best way forward will be; however, there is an open issue to support multiple PayPal e-mail addresses for IPN validation. If that were in, you wouldn't have this problem. As for the e-mails, not sure. It's hard to know what's e-mail worthy. We can give it some thought, but Rules may just be the simplest solution.
