Would it be possible to add some display settings for the download link?

For example, if I have an audio file field, it would be great to be able to have a download link with only the playtime and the file size displayed, instead of all the file info (including bitrate, sample rate, ...).

Is it an option to add this to the audio file field's configuration screen (which makes me think I should perhaps be posting this request in that module's issue queue)?
