On the node/add/page, in authoring information section, the text input line-height computes into 13px (which is correct) in Chrome 24, but into 21px in FireFox 18. This results in higher input control, with a lower part of throbber visible at it's bottom. In fact, that relates to all text input fields. (See screenshot).
This is a known bug, which happens due to a different font rendering in FireFox for some fonts (Lucida Grande in Windows FireFox) in this case. Attached patch adds Arial as a first option font, fixing the FF display for Windows-based machines.

alexrayu commentedHere's a patch with Verdana though - it looks more like Lucida grande.

lewisnymanThis is going to effect other browsers and operating systems. I'm not sure of the best way to proceed here. Can we confirm this is still a bug on the latest version of Firefox?

alexrayu commentedIt's the issue with the way FF renders that font. I have found multiple instances of this issue unrelated to Drupal. I am not sure how to proceed - but since no one else subscribed, it may be an unimportant issue. So we can set it to Won't Fix for now, and if it resurfaces, than a new one will be created.
