I have used locations to store the address of companies and everything is working great, if you are logged in as the administrator. If you are not then the address does not show up at all. I have Gmap also working with it and again I can see it if logged in as administrator. I have checked all the permissions associated with it. I am pretty sure there is a permission I am missing somewhere in there but I am unable to find it. Thanks for your help.

thetech249 CreditAttribution: thetech249 commentedJust an update I went in and built a view of the address and used Location:address (content:address didn't show up) and placed that inside a panel to show. Now I can't get the map to show. I even tried to override the permissions using views but did not have any luck. I will update if I figure something else out.

robit8deb CreditAttribution: robit8deb commentedsame thing happens to me - non administrators (not including the standard user - who can edit its own field) cannot edit location field. This is an issue because i have to make a more restrictive set of admins who need to edit this value. 2 years no comments - sounds about right...
