Hi,

How can I use Rules to set the "File directory" option on an image field?

I have a custom content type with an image field and I want that directory option to be changed with rules using the "before saving content" event.

You would have to write your own rules action to modify the content type. But I don't think you can change that aspect of the field settings if you already have some content created with the old file directory.
