I noticed this feature and I was surprised to see it, having spoken to Tim Plunkett he suggested it was in case you have a custom admin theme that doesn't work well with Views. However that seems like a poor reason.

I suggest we just remove this functionality

OR! :D

Since I know we generally just like adding consistency, me, johnalbin and lewis discussed we might just do this everywhere on every form. So you could have different flavours of admin pages, using color module or just if you like Bartik for your Field UI and Rootcandy for your Configuration listing.

Neither xjm nor I knew this functionality even existed :)

Deleting code is easy and fun!

Is there a views_kitchen_sink_info() hiding in there, too? ;)

Committed and pushed to 8.x. Thanks!
