i need to generate some links using the title text (instead of node number etc.).
But some titles contain accents and punctuation.
is it possible to get transliteration to sanitize the title - remove punctuation and convert accents etc.
I've googled and search the issues but failed to find anything.

i have found transliteration_title which may do something in this direction. From comments elsewhere, it's seems that views "does no writing" and that any transliteration should be held in the db e.g. in a field.

Yet to test this alpha module
