I've stumbled onto this issue when I was attempting to use the Menu Icon module to apply images to the menu links. It seems that when the menu is overwritten by nice menus, the classes applied to the original menu are ignored. Is there a workaround that would allow the two modules coexist?

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
