Attempted to import a clean instance of Spark using Acquia Dev Desktop and the install fails with the following error:

Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /Users/jamie.meredith/Downloads/spark-7.x-1.x-dev/includes/install.core.inc on line 729

Acquia Dev Desktop Control Panel - Version: 7.14.14
Spark 7.x-1.x-dev - Released on Aug 18, 2012
ADDC set to PHP 5.3

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Launch Acquia Dev Desktop
  2. Select Import from site management screen
  3. Select unpacked spark distro
  4. Select create new database
  5. Enter database name - "spark"
  6. Enter spark subdomain
  7. Begin import
  8. Import completes and site install screen appears - select Spark profile
  9. Select continue with install

Error appears after last step.

If this same scenario is attempted with the current alpha version, it works as expected and the install is successful.

Also, you might want to hold off until alpha5, which hopefully will be released within hours. :)

Not having tried previously I installed alpha-5 in dev desktop without issues.
