alerts on by default

I can't get over how awesome this module is. Thank you so much for making it.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with something relatively unimportant. I was wondering if its possible to change the code to have the alerts enabled by default.

I know you can set the alerts on or off, but when they're enabled, the user still needs to click them on manually. I want to have them already on, so the user has to manually turn them off.

Sadly, I don't know much about code, so any advice would be helpful.
