I've enabled panelize on a taxonomy vocabulary, in this case 'Countries' as well as 'allow panelize choice'. Then, on a particular term page, say Antarctica, I've selected the 'Panelizer' tab, panelized the term and on the 'content' sub tab I've reconfigured the display content.

The live preview shows the correct and updated layout.

However, the term display shows the old, standard taxonomy term layout without a hint of panelizer. Additionally, if I set the settings to in-place editor I get nothing, nada.

I've gone through the same process with a node and things work just fine.

Is this a bug or am I missing something painfully obvious?

Be sure to enable the term_view page in page manager.

Also I had to do a "Full page override" of taxonomy vocabulary I panelized. "Default" panelize wasn't enough like is said here.
