I have a menu item set to /node which is essentially the frontpage. This is so that secondary menus will appear when on the frontpage. (stupid bug in Drupal).
I have set up Menu Trails to associate a node type to this menu item but it fails to work. If I change the association to anything else it works fine.
I changed the menu item to and this worked but this is not ideal and in any case it is still a bug.
It also seems to completely disable the active state for /node when you're on the /node page and therefore the frontpage.

sunSorry, Menu Trails for Drupal 5 is not actively developed/maintained anymore. Only issues containing patches may still be considered. Feel free to re-open this issue if you want to provide a patch.
