Primary/Secondary links disconnected. Can't expand sub-links.

This doesn't look like a feature. The secondary and primary links are completely independent. Previously, the secondary depended on the primary for its expansion.

Now trying to assign an expanding sub-link into the primary doesn't work at all. It still allows me to but it doesn't work.

I tried searching the queue and found no mention of this.
