I am kind of lost in customizing the commons. My major need at the moment is that (1) when user clicks on My Profile the default page displayed should be the profile of the individual (which is now within About tab link on user frame). In addition, when (2) when the profile is displayed, photo is displayed on the left with Edit etc links beneath. I want the whole content of the left side bar moved to the right side bar, so that the page will have only two columns and the profile will have more space. (3) All the tabs that appear on user frame (which is below the primary links) should appear alongside the primary links, I do not want any tab in the lower part. What should I do for this? Can someone help me? It would have been good to have a documentation.

Question #2 is solved. It uses context. It took me a while to understand the functions of the buttons. For those who are new, Go to Admin interface and click on context. You need to go to Profile and the item 'profile-about-me
User profile when viewing your about page'. Click Edit. Go all the way down and click on block. Each context area can have multiple items. All possible items are shown on the right. select anything that you need to be displayed in the side bar etc. After selecting the item on the right, click on Add sign on the specific side bar or header that you want it to be displayed. If you want to remove an item click on 'x'. If you remove all items in left side bar, that sidebar will not be shown.

I still need to figure out #1 and #3.
