Who we are: Buenos Aires Tours is a tourism agency run and managed by it's founder, Isabel, from it's foundation on, 5 years ago. My name is Santiago, I'm her son, and I'm project managing the initiative to renovate and relaunch her website. (www.buenosaires-tours.com.ar). I've developed websites before in and outside of Drupal.

Project objective: Develop a visually attractive, yet simple to use and understand, online presence. The value proposition of the service has to be extremely clear, in order to facilitate self selection by customers, and the platform needs to be easily updateable by the owner to reflect changing prices, promotions, etc.
Target audience: Seniors in the ages between 40 to 60, usually couples, with medium to high purchasing power, looking for a travel agent that can build a personalized travel solution for them.
Business description: Personalized travel agencies offer consulting services in flights, connections, ground transportation, common hotspots, convenient paths/routes to take, etc and may, upon request, offer the booking service too. Unlike traditional agencies, the final product is a personalized trip specially designed for the customer. The cost is a small fixed fee for the consulting services.

Request for Proposal
- Overview: Website for Travel agency specialized in tourism in Argentina. The content will be provided and input by us, and what we request of you is the visual design proposal and it's subsequent development, the adaptation of said design to the Drupal platform, and the subsequent setup of the destination page templates (see below).
- Homepage guidelines: It must be attractive and the visual elements should be prominent given the nature of the business. It'd be good if it had a slideshow in html5/flash, in the homepage, with different images of Argentina in HD, along with their names and links to its' respective destination pages (product pages). Within the homepage there must be a section where testimonials are shown, possibly with a fade in/fade out effect, one by one.
- Destination pages (product pages): There must be a placeholder for an image slideshow, another one to show a map (w/Google Maps integration), a place for a description, and different sections to contain special packages, weather forecast (brought by integrating with weather.com or similar provider), and free-form sections.
- "Our services" page. It'll be mostly editorial so I don't see much visual design work needed for this page.
- "About us" page. Same comment as above.
- "Testimonials" page. Same comment as above.
- Contact form with customizable fields.
- All ideas above are subject to discussion. Any ideas that could potential improve efficacy of the website will be appreciated and considered.
