There is an emerging spec for tracking user behavior and buddylist-like awareness across sites called attention.xml.

When this spec gets momentum, it could be a key differentiator for Drupal apart from the other CMSes. I recommend that we take a good look at it and figure out what integration with Drupal might make sense (especially with dist-auth).

IMO this does not realy belong in node_aggregator. Node aggrgator is only about parsing RSS feeds, not about XML imprting in general.
