I believe this is the same issue as http://drupal.org/node/160372, which I just fixed. Let me know if it's not fixed in the 5.x version of the module. Thanks!

This started cropping up for me also, only in newer versions of Firefox 2.0.0.14 and the new FF 3. It'll only happen if clicking a bookmark then clicking another link on the page or changing the URL within a second or so of clicking the VB link. This problem also occurs with autocomplete textfields (you can reproduce it at http://api.drupal.org for example).
