I LOVE the concept for this module! Great work! Unfortunately, the majority of my CSS background images come from the menu_icons module. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems CSS Embedded Images only parses theme stylesheets, whereas Menu Icons generates a stylesheet stored in files/css which seems doesn't get parsed by this module. Would it be possible to add support for that?

Use AdvAgg 7.x-2.x, enable the advagg_mod module, check the preprocess all css checkbox. That should do the trick :)
Will need the latest dev of css_emimage module
