I disabled and uninstalled the module and yet the views_php filter remained. If one attempted to use the filter I got the message that 'filter handler missing'. Logic needs to be added to uninstall the module.

Also any tip about what I need to do to manually remove this module from my system? Here is what I did...

1. removed the php field and filters I had created in my views
2. disabled the module
3. tried to uninstall the module, but there was no uninstall function available
4. removed views_php from the all/modules folder

then I noticed the php field and filter options still persisted when editing views, but naturally they now throw an error because the code has been removed.

So how can I completely remove these handlers to keep my install clean?
