Problem/Motivation
I believe there needs to be a clear distinction on the learndrupal.org site between essential 'learning to contribute' lessons and other more general Drupal learning/lessons. The message isn't yet clear enough.
Proposed resolution
Suggestions include:
Clearly seperate essential 'learning to contribute' lessons from any others made available on the site.
Perhaps hide or make unavailable any non-essential lessons until at least one essential lesson is completed.
Make clearer the message that non-essential lessons are not the focus of this initiative/site.
Include a traffic light colour scheme to lesson pages e.g. green for essential lessons, yellow for helpful 'general contributing' lessons and red for anything else.
Remaining tasks
Ongoing discussion/comments/feedback to decide on objectives and best implementation.
User interface changes
See suggestions above which include visual prompts for users.
API changes
None identified.
Hopefully this will be helpful in generating contributions from others.
