would like when required fields aren't filled out, upon clicking next or save jump to that step or stay on that step. currently, it will allow you to go to the next step even though required fields aren't completed.

I've tested the latest version and this works without any problems.

My configuration: added a required field to content type "story" and created three steps. If I do not fill the required field, I can't proceed to the next step but the field is highlighted and an error is displayed.

Do you have any (custom) modules installed that modifies form validation? Or some other configuration I need to know to reproduce this?
