Today I converted a site from D6 to D7.
After running the translation update (.../admin/config/regional/translate/update) I found most of the fetched translations are fetched from the previous version 6. See attachment.

I cleared the database table l10n_update_file and did rerun "update translation" with the correct correct translations versions.

I solved it after a new conversion test by first enabling the localisation client and update. Afterwards the other modules.
