Hello I recently created the "Directory based organisational layer" (http://drupal.org/project/odir) module.

This module actually have odir_image_colorbox and odir_image_lightbox2 submodules, whom depend on the colorbox and lightbox2 respectivally.

I would be glad if you could take a look at my module, and eventualy put it in a category "Modules that have built in support for Lightbox" on you project page.
