The products tab seems to be showing to all users (including anonymous users), which then takes them through to a table listing products associated with the node and even an edit link.

It seems to me that the access check shouldn't be for 'access content' but rather a more admin-like permission.

I have discovered this as well, the products tab should only show to users who can edit the product display node.
