When I disable "Display author and date information" for the default node-type article, Mothership still keeps rendering them. The same goes for the comments: count, which is displayed even though comments are turned off.

found the problem its the node.tpl page in "newtheme" that is overwriting motherships base node.tpl & page.tpl

copy them over and it all works as it should be.

gonna fix this in next release
