Page reloaded but no search results were returned.

Did several searches, same results.

I just tried it and it doesn't seem to do any filtering at all, for instance:

http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-design?keys=asdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdf

This is a fairly major issue (I'd even say critical), could we at least hide the search block until this is fixed?

I guess if someone wants to fix this (totally possible for anyone to do since the code is available and the arguments to solr are well known) then please re-open the issue. Otherwise we can wait for commons which has this feature in D6 and probably 7.

Seems like this bug is fixed at Organic groups » Issues » Problem with group search.
Could someone apply the patch?
