For what I read D6 was created with an old version of jquery, and everytime there is a new version there is a new incompatibility.
and I see this issue tracking full of issues for this same reason,

so I wonder if its possible to have a exception textarea where you can enter the paths where you don't want the new jquery version but the default one.

So you can enter pages where the table drag is not working, or the images are not uploading etc, etc....

I see there are a similar issue, but they propose to have the paths on the code, unusable for me.

Finally I think this can save a lot of time for the maintainers and users on current and future issues, (or I am wrong?)

there is a patch for acomplish this same issue in http://drupal.org/node/1539276#comment-5981630

Is this approach being ignored? Why not use different version in different pages?
