I followed the instructions, but using new Netbeans 7.1.1 is a little different. After importing the Netbeans templates, there are many d6_##### and d7_#### listed under Lanuage PHP, but none of them actually seem to work when I am editing a .php file.
I've read the examples and if I start typing "d', I get a lot of suggestions, but continue typing a '6' or '7' all suggestions disappear.
When i go to Tools -> Options -> Editors and look under Language PHP, there are many templates that start with d6_ or d7_ but they just are not showing up when I try to edit a php file.

JSCSJSCS commentedI was under the wrong impression that using its abbreviation would cause autocompletion to work, but apparently not. I have to use using its abbreviation + Tab to get the templates to populate. That is a lot of using its abbreviations to memorize.
Autocompletion does work for most templates, but since the Drupal templates seem to all start this Doxygen comment code, it is useless.
