This Cookbook shows, how you can add a translation of the module A Wusel Migration (http://drupal.org/node/1285276).

Cookbook:

This coolbook shows the installation of the translation during the installation of the module A Wusel Migration.
For a later installation look at [2]!

Step 1: Preparation

  1. If not enabled, enable the core-module Locale.
  2. Visit 'http://example.com/admin/config/regional/language/add', chooce your language in the field 'Language name' and then hit 'Add Language'.
  3. Do Step 1 and 2 of 'Import new users and their "Profile2"-fields from one CSV-file' (http://drupal.org/node/1285276) WITHOUT enabling the module A Wusel Migration.

Step 2: Build directory

Create the directory "sites/all/modules/a_wusel_migration/translations/".

Step 3: Translate the POT-file

Translate the entries "msgid" in the corresponding row "msgstr" of the attached file "a_wusel_migration.pot" [1] and save the result file as "sites/all/modules/a_wusel_migration/translations/a_wusel_migration.XX.po", if you translate it to the language with the language-code XX. You have to change XX e.g. to fr, if you translate it to French. You can get this code XX (use lower case!) in the third column at 'http://example.com/admin/config/regional/language'.

Step 3: German Translation

If you want to have a german translation, you can save the attached file "a_wusel_migration.de_.po.txt" [1] with my translation to German as "sites/all/modules/a_wusel_migration/translations/a_wusel_migration.de.po", where you have to delete the very last "_" and ".txt" in the filename of the attached file!

Step 4: Enable "A Wusel Migration"

Then enable the module A Wusel Migration.

Step 5: Finish installation of "A Wusel Migration"

Do Step 3 and 4 of 'Import new users and their "Profile2"-fields from one CSV-file' (http://drupal.org/node/1285276).

Notes:

[1]: If you change some text in the module A Wusel Migration, you have to build your own *.POT- or *.PO-file prior to that.
For this, if not enabled, (download, install it to your modules-path like sites/all/modules and) enable the module Translation template extractor (http://drupal.org/project/potx).
Then export your own *.POT- or *.PO-file at 'http://example.com/admin/config/regional/translate/extract/'.

[2]: If you already have installed the module A Wusel Migration, visit 'http://example.com/admin/config/regional/translate/import/' and import your 'Language file' a_wusel_migration.XX.po" (look at Step 3). That's all.

Good luck!
