Hi Maintainer from Mail Manager,
I would like to know how mail manager works exactly. Is there some where an How to explanation?
As long as there is no read me file in the module. I need to ask this question.
In change I would write one (readme) if somebody gives me a short introduction how to use the module.
Cheers from Cologne
Dirk

arturoramos commentedThanks for volunteering for this task...
The Mailman Manager module is basically an attempt to integrate subscription management of Mailman Manager mailing lists within Drupal.
In order to use the module, you need to have the Mailman Mailing lists installed somewhere. That need not be on the same server as your Drupal installation, as all commands are sent via email by Drupal to Mailman.
You first need to configure lists in Mailman and then add the list(s) through the admin settings screen to the Drupal Mailman Manager module's list of lists to allow users to subscribe to them and change their subscriptions to them via Drupal.
Once a list is added through the Admin panel, it will become available for users (based on permissions set for access to the Mailman Manager through the Admin - Access Control "Access Mailman Manager" permission) to subscribe to them. This can be done either through a direct link in the navigation menu or through a new option that appears in the user's "My Account" - "Edit" screen.
If the list has an empty subscriber list, it is much simpler to require users to subscribe via Drupal because the Mailman Manager module will automatically generate Mailman passwords for the users (which are then used to change subscription options without requiring further confirmation from the user). Otherwise, if a user is already subscribed to a Mailman list outside of Drupal, the user's Mailman password must be manually entered when the user "subscribes" within Drupal. Subscribe here is in quotes because the user is already subscribed and by re-subscribing within Drupal, the user is merely allowing the Mailman Manager module to control her subscription options by providing it her password.

Ok I will see if i can figure it out how it works. But i will go to Brasil now for five weeks. Hollyday. As soon as i come back I will care for documentation and a handbook for this module.
