Separate fields from a view output

Hi,

I've been looking all over for some insight into this and haven't been able to find it.

I'm trying to split the output from a view to show up in two different parts of the page. I have a nodequeue with a page display that has titles and images from a series of nodes. I'm trying to get the titles to display in the left sidebar and the images to display in the center content area.

Though I did achieve it with two separate displays and panels, the two areas don't react together when a mouse is hovered as they would if they were part of the same output. For example, if a mouse is hovered over the image, the associated title is highlighted.

Any pointers?
