I use the thumbnail images on the homepage (like the Theme Demo) to display my most recent 6 storys. Because I have a multilanguage site (not yet, but building it: http://test.jeltsch.org), there are always three different versions of every story (English, Finnish and German). If I promote all of them to be visible on the front page, I have three times the same image displayed pointing to the three different versions of the story. If I don't promote the non-default language versions to the front page, only one image is displayed per story (what I want), but the language-switcher doesn't do anything. This is confusion for the visitor, who expects the front page to change into e.g. Finnish when he clicks the "Finnish" link in the language chooser. Any idea how to get this working is very much appreciated!

Note to myself: RTFM about multilanguage sites. I just had to activate the correct modules.
